Hi there, my name is Josh.

First things first. This is my own personal blog which details my own personal opinions and thoughts delivered in an honest and largely un-filtered way. If you’re offended by me saying something like “Cut the bullshit.”, then I kindly suggest you don’t read the rest of this blog.

Part of this deal, is the process of working my way through each step of life, while being honest with who I am and where I’m at, at any given point in time. Not being ashamed of where or what I’ve been in the past, as my sister wisely once said “life is a process”, and “you’re pretty humourfull”.

I’m trying something new, the old way of living my life and working out my “christianity” hasn’t been working out so great. So I’m unapologetically questioning and refining my faith and beliefs to a place where I can stand on them with both feet and still be possessing all of my heart.

If you don’t know me, here’s some fuel for your stereotype-o-matic:

Gender: Male (Well duh, who calls a girl Josh?)
Age: Late 20s
Height: 5ft 11in
Humor: Dry / Sarcastic.
Relationship Status: So VERY happily married!
Religion: Ex “Christian” now anti-religion, anti-“doing things the way they’ve always been done…just because that’s the way you do them”. (But I’m still pretty fond of Jesus)

You’re most welcome to comment on anything I write, even if it’s to disagree with what I say; as I’m always open to hearing something from another person’s perspective.

It’s also an encouragement to know that someone else is actually reading what I write, so any feedback is appreciated, even if you’re just writing to say “Josh, you filthy heathen – I thought you were a Christian!”

This blog is my feeble attempt to communicate what beats within my heart, and is a chance for you to join with me as I laugh at myself, and sometimes cry.
